Let us "Step Out in Faith."
As United Methodist Women, it is our goal to know God, experience freedom as a whole person through Jesus Christ, create a
supportive fellowship and expand the concepts of missions. There are so many things we can accomplish towards these
goals if we take that "Step of Faith," putting behind us our fears, our feelings of inadequacy, or our apprehension
of not doing a task well. God calls us to give of our time and our gifts whether it be patting oysters at the Fall Supper,
participating in Bible Studies, helping a needy family, or just being a good listener. The UMW is looking forward to
an exciting time ahead and we would like to encourage each and every woman of the Church to help us take that "Step of
Faith." We are the "many," GOD is the "ONE." Let us glorify His name!
UMW membership is ongoing -- All Women are invited to join at any time. There is a yearly $5.00 membership fee.
You will receive a handbook and membership card and are encouraged to attend the planned UMW events. For more information,

September 16 - Trip to Board of Child Care. The van(s)

September 17 - We will have a guest speaker from Social Services; the topic will be caring for loved
ones; meeting begins at 7:00 p.m. in the MH Fellowship Hall.
October 8 - Meeting in Fellowship Hall to plan and
prepare for the Ham & Oyster Dinner. Time to be determined.
October 20 - Ham & Oyster Dinner
November 5 - World Thank Service
December 10 - Christmas Dinner & Party in Fellowship Hall at 6:00 p.m.
