Christ's Church is a frail but hopeful community of faith; frail because it it human; hopeful because it rests on Jesus's promise that where two or three are gathered in his name, Jesus will be there. In Worship, we gather as a family to praise God, to hear God's word, and to offer ourselves to God in response to his love for us! In Learning, we experience and grow in the knowledge of God's love and of God's purpose for our lives as followers of Jesus Christ. Our goals for those who come to Mt. Harmony/Lower Marlboro United Methodist Church are guidance for spiritual growth, the opportunity to serve, a channel for reaching out to the World, and fellowship. Come . . . be with us . . . and grow with us! Rev. Sandra S.W. Taylor ("Pastor Sandy") Before her call to ordained ministry, Pastor Sandy was an elementary school teacher in Prince George's County, Maryland. She earned her Master's Degree in Divinity from Wesley Theological Seminary. Pastor Sandy also has a Master's Degree in Religious Education and is a Certifiied Religious Educator in the Baltimore Washington Conference of the United Methodist Church. Pastor Sandy is happily married to David E. Taylor. They have two children, Jennifer Ruth and David E. Taylor, II, and several grandchildren. |
